THERE IS GAIN IN SERVING GOD, Vol. 1

CONTENT: NOVEMBER EDITION, SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH.
BIBLE READING: ESTHER 6:1-7.
TEXT: ESTHER 6:2.
REFERENCE: 1 SAMUEL 1: 9-20, LUKE 1:25-30, LUKE 1:40-50.

SCRIPTURE:

And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.

MESSAGE.

Serving means when you are doing something or committed to please another man regardless of the status of such person you are doing it to.

There is a big different between just serving and faithful serving, just serving will not bring any notable or recommendable reward either from God or man to you.

There are people today both in the church of God and society who need to change their mentality and way of their service because of wrong character and attitude to work, they are truly serving but not faithful service.

Some are gainfully employed and are not doing as expected by the lord in that particular place of work for such is only interested in the monthly salary, yes, renumeration is part of the reward for work but not the only reward for the good service at any point in time.

You must be faithful in your service because it is through your diligent and heartfelt service that the reward and blessing of God is guaranteed.

I was privilege to be praying with some staffs of one organization and there way a particular day, I share a testimony of a young faithful man who is also among staffs of an organization, he will always attend to anything that is not right, never for one time overlook anything that can paint the organization with unworthy colour, he deliberates about it.

Unknowingly that several are watching him thinking whether what he was doing is coincident or eye-service, but this was discovered by larger number of the staff of the organization that he was deliberate about his action, he is a man that just was to see thing moving progressive and orderly in the place of his work and he is not in any way related with director of the organization.

There was a particular day and God was ready to reward him through a man which is during the year celebration and feast of the organization.

He was called, awarded and promoted to head a new branch of the organization, within two years of understudy by different kind of people and employed consultancy firm of the organization, he was called again, this time by the Chief- Executive -Director of the organization and he was given a good percentage of the organization meaning he is now one of the strong shareholders of the organization.

Brenthen, look at how many rewards a person because of faithful, diligent services and righteous dealing through a working service brought to himself.

Mordecai was one of the serving personnel working in the palace of king Ahasuerus and he discovered there was a plot to murder against the king in his sleep by some trusted chamberlain and this was practically revealed to the king, he was not remembered immediately but was at appropriate time and the reward makes a significant meaning in his life.

God usually compelling men to remember people for their good and faithful service talk less of God himself. God cannot fail in his usual approach to the people which depend on how faithful such is to God and his work.

1. Thank you for your faithfulness in my life in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord, destroy all form of wrong approach to my service both to God and man in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, help me to be more humble and continue to be diligent in my service to humanity and God in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, destroy satanic attack against my service and let there be breakthrough in my service in Jesus name.
5. Thank you for an answered prayers oh Lord in Jesus name.
