BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 7:1-5.
TEXT: MATHEW 6:34.
REFERENCE: PROVERBS 27:1-3, JUDGES 16:1-7, MARK 5:25-32.
SCRIPTURE:
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
MESSAGE.
You cannot forecast the tomorrow except you were told by God, except you put your ear in the heart of the lord, it is very difficult and not possible to hear God for any reason, be it in caution, direction etc when you are not attuned with him.
When talking about tomorrow, it is a very big issue, first you can’t boast you know anything about tomorrow except you are told or inform by the lord.
Tomorrow carries a lot of responsibility that you can only position yourself rightly for her good reputation and recommendations.
There is judgement tomorrow, there is breakthrough tomorrow, there is stagnation tomorrow, there is vengeance in tomorrow, there is spiritual reposition tomorrow, there is success tomorrow, there is super and additional breakthrough tomorrow, there is pulling down tomorrow etc “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” (Mathew 6:34).
You are the only person that will determine the kind of result that will come your way or make yours tomorrow. The elder of Judah experience and recorded a shameful reputation through wrong and ungodly decision make on their blood brother, they never considered who Samson has been in their midst, they quickly forgot what God has done through his personality to all Isrealites in one way or the other, they ran into an exampinary shame that is still existing today because of selfishness and inconsiderate action against other.
Samson was reported to them by the philistines “Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them” (Judges 15:11), what was the issue between the philistines and Samson, an Isrealites, they didn’t bother to asked this and to know how to bring a peaceable agreement between the two parties.
He was arrested by his nation elder and handed over to the philistines armies “And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands” (Judges 15:14), the devil and evil agents causing unbearableness will always be happy with you when you are on its side by making negative implantation work in other but it’s just for a while such action will bring bitterness to you tomorrow if you failed to do the needful.
The lord fought for Samson and the philistines armies go down just for one man, that is the extend God can go to save anybody at any time “And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith” (Judges 15:15), you must be very careful for certainly God will judges some individual tomorrow, protect yourself from that kind of judgement by being a good personality to other, the result is either will led to death or rememberable shame like the elder of Judah.
Today don’t determine the totality of your tomorrow, there is nothing good here today that can be compared to the great goodness of God coming tomorrow, Obed-Edom is a perfect example of who God turn around the predicament of his life supernaturally and left everyone talking till date “And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obed-edom, and all his household” (2 Samuel 6:11), he was expected to die the next day but the plan of God total transformation couldn’t be disturb by human projection in his life.
You are right to your projection or imagination about tomorrow like any other person but if is not in conformable with the plan of God, such will be erased and cannot stand the test of time.
When the morrow of the woman with the issue of blood came every individual were wondered of how she manage to be heal, human surprise is normal but abnormal to the lord divine action on all issue “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague” (Mark 5:29), devil meant have realized that morrow she will be heal but concluded that such is not possible in any human right thinking and spiritual imaginable realm.
God is a God of all possibility and there is nothing he cannot to do, there are set of people today that God will show mercy and favour them, I pray we are counted among this set, and some will be judge ruthlessly today too because of their past action and detectable action against the precious people of God which has nothing to do with whether such is a saints or gentile.
Tomorrow hold a great responsibility and God is the only author of all the manifestation therein.
