SCRIPTURE:
Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
MESSAGE.
The city of Babylon appears in both Hebrew and Christian scriptures. Christian scriptures portray Babylon as a wicked city. Hebrew scriptures tell the story of the Babylonian exile, portraying Nebuchadnezzar as a captor.
This is a city full of men and women that were empowered extraordinarily through satanic and demonic means boldly backed up by the devil, you cannot imagine a Babylonian priest that is not truly regenerated to bring the light of the lord to the people who are in the darkness, it is abode of corruption and reincarnation of evil manifestation of the devil which is totally against the prominent will of the lord.
There is no way you decide to encourage a Babylonian to act God without Christ being rooted in such individual life that there will be a lightening kind of result in the life of such individuals.
Everything gotten by Babylonian be it privilege, opportunity, wealth, promotion, influence etc are used to oppress the people of God and community such dwell.
The city of Babylon is a place where the fear of God is not recognized as principle or a way of life to be adopted, life without the fear of God is on the path to ruins.
The characteristics of Babylon are in every street and community of the nation around the world.
Playing prank and joke with the word of the lord is one perfect example and characteristics of Babylon that one must do away with.
The church is observing her monthly evangelism, I was at the back observing things going on with the evangelism movement of the church, one of the evangelism crew moved closer to a brother, encourage him to take a flyer and explain what the lord Jesus Christ is capable of doing in his life, I overheard he said, I don’t need this but money, I know there is God but what I need is money.
As he was coming toward me with a furious look and disposition, this is character associated with Babylon, it is a city that will be burn down with surphur and brimstone with everything and people sharing her identity.
I called him explained to him how worthless what he decided to have in the place of God in his life, telling him the cruciality of God’s presence and essentiality of it in our daily disposition.
God cannot because of anybody come down in His divine and glorious form because he wants you to change and believe him, no, He will only send people to you, Babylonian always find it difficult to adjust to the will of God in their life because of self-wrong-thought and motive.
I went on by telling the young man the deadness of his character toward the word of God in his life that God is watching him and will judge him appropriately, but it will be to his advantage if change positively and accept the totality and compulsory attitude of God in his life through Jesus Christ.
I explained the human ignorance about money in the place of God to him, he was relaxed in the biblical explanation of God’s detail mercy and manifestation in the life of whoever that believes him totally and doing his will without hindrance of any kind.
The characteristic of Babylon is a symptom of extreme destruction in the life of a person. It is dangerous to be associated with the mentioned city through character, attitude, ways of life etc, for the result is eternally unbearable.
The pride of king Nebuchadnezzar led him to seven years punishment of God melted on him in the wilderness, God will punish any individual with character and characteristics of Babylon if such change not.
