BIBLE READING: JOB 2:1-12.
TEXT: JOB 2:3.
REFERENCE: GENESIS 20:5-9, 1KINGS 9:1-5, PSALM 7:5-9.
SCRIPTURE:
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
MESSAGE.
Integrity is the high percentage of your honesty, strong will and ability to uphold moral discipline and principles of God.
This is very important and cannot be overlooked for any reason in the life of a person regardless of such individuals privilege and office, fortunately if a man cannot be discipline such will definitely lack of integrity, and his punishment cannot overlook because of either such deceptive societal influence or menial contribution through his corrupt proceed, God will definitely reward the person in his time.
It is important you uphold the divine rule of order of God and that of moral human responsibility for this is one of the principles of life to please the Lord and live a fulfilled life.
Show me a person that God bless or save from the most terrible trap of the adversary in the scripture who are not integrity personified individual, who denied others their joy because such want his to remain full, who want others to be in the position of stagnation because he want his life to remain in motion of progress, no, there is no such individual in the Lord account or list of blessing.
You will be tested over time, check and see if are fit for the Lords divine enrichment before he stretches his hand of blessing that cannot be withheld to such credible individual.
There are people who are famous but lost out of integrity and with a dead moral discipline in the scripture and their life shows the result that is not acceptable and inspiring.
Reuben was the first son of Jacob, who lacked discipline and straightly ran into an uncorrectable error of life, he defiles his father’s bed and became an abomination for him to prosper because his father curses him and destroyed his prospect through his fatherhood authority.
He lacked moral discipline and lost his integrity in the process of doing something that is totally unacceptable in the culture of human race to his father’s wife, he suffered the consequences of the five minutes enjoyment he derived from his father’s wife.
His father never reacted immediately but waited till the last minute of his life and react negatively against his personality.
God reacted against the intention of the king that wanted to take Abraham’s wife, he kept her in the palace against the wish of her husband, God uphold his anger against him because he was told that Sarah is his sister not wife, still the Lord shut the womb of all the wife in the palace at this period of time.
Looking at the case of the king, this is one of the wrong adopted characters of the king that made them lost their place of respect and value in the society, taking someone wife or daughter at your will, this is not right and not acceptable to God, this devalues their kingship and authority.
Do you expect the man you take his wife or daughter unlawfully to still respect your person as a king of the land and still be wishing you success in your quest on the throne, no, that is not possible but otherwise is certain which is cursing and rebellion to your order.
Can we still see a man like Job in the office of the priest today, among the church Elders, amidst the council of leadership in the community, among the staffs of an organization, among the teachers in our school etc, He was a man that God trusted because he upholds his integrity and moral discipline on all cause and issue of life.
Integrity is very powerful for without it, it is very difficult for you to lead exemplary life either as a father at home, family leader, community chiefs, priest in the office of the priesthood etc.
