SCRIPTURE:
When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
MESSAGE.
Warning and exposition of truth is one of the powerful pieces that God is usually using through the gospel for human character properness, building and guide against regret and misappropriation of life privilege.
It is good when you have a clean sheet with the Lord, don’t let anybody deceive you there is nobody that can escape any wrong done to his neighbor because of one reason or other, you are meant to wait upon the Lord alone for all thing, judgement and blessing not to look elsewhere against the Lord divine possibility.
Achan was one of the chosen armies that went with the troop Isrealites to fight in Babylon, there was an instruction which was clearly stated by the Lord that nothing must be spare in that land to the animal on the street and nothing of the Babylon must come home with them.
But unfortunately, he saw goodly Babylonian material, gold, silver, raiment etc, he hid it and brought it home. This is the genesis of the evil happening in the land of Isreal to the intend that the nation that’s not supposed to interfere on any national matter with Isrealites are now ready to fight with them to take their land and property.
This is happening to them because someone among the Isrealites is having and holding on to an abominable material, the nation went to war with Isrealites and at glance thirty-six great armies fall at the war front, the great implications of this is that, this thirty-six men has wives and children who has suddenly turned widows and fatherless in the community and the implications to them is very wide because of wrong appetite of someone among the Isrealites.
He was fished out prophetically, and the punishment was grievous, he and his household were stoned to death and burnt with fire.
You are a priest has nothing to do with this, let go of what belong to the saints.
If someone give you what you should release to the saints in the church, I don’t think you should have problem with that, you are just a channel, it doesn’t belong to you, keeping it for yourself or family will stop the coming blessing of God upon your life and ministry and can open doors for unhealable affliction.
You coveting what belong to your brother, laying ambush against his family, you simply setting on your path a destructive trap that you won’t be able to escape.
Your neighbor or community people are just prey under your wicked scheme, there is no problem about it, there will certainly be a payback time that has power to ruin the generation coming after you because of wrong and evil appetite.
Remember the elders of Judah that tied Samson and handed him over to the Philistines at Lehi, they eventually were disappointed and put to a very serious shame because of their collective decision over their blood related brother, so will you if you don’t stop the evil now.
Evil will definitely stop its agent at her set time, so doing it is simply enlisting your name among the people evil is coming back to.

4. Oh Lord, free my life and family from all form of evil and her imagination in Jesus name.
