STAY OFF WHAT IS NOT GOOD, Vol. 1

BIBLE READING: JEREMIAH 24:1-10.

REFERENCE: JOSHUA 7:15-24, ESTHER 7:1-10, MATHEW 22:1-15.

SCRIPTURE:

It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

MESSAGE.

There is no better way to explain what one should stay clear off, what is bad should be totally avoided and not in any reason considered as worth or principle to abide by.

There was a clip I came across sometimes ago, where a young man was encouraging himself with what happened between Jacob and Esau, that God gave his consent by being silent to what Jacob did to his brother, pretended to be Esau to the father to acquire the first born blessing from Isaac, he was saying that God supported it, no, nothing of such, that is totally wrong and unacceptable.

God is not in support of whatever that is bad from the beginning of the world till date and will not support any related act of such till the world will be no more, whether to the saints or gentile on any situation and circumstances of life.

I responded on the comment side of the clip, hope the message will get to the young man who is trying to use his wrong analysis to support his dubious life and character.

This is the point God is dwelling on this morning to encourage everyone of us, Jacob dubiously tricked his father to collect what belong to his elder brother but, do you ever ask yourself one time or the other that, did he manifest it.

What he did put him on a wrong track for an unnecessary race that almost wrecked his life.

There is nothing bad that bring pleasure and pleasantries to your life but curse and abomination.

What are those things that are bad and must be avoided at all costs.

You must physically and spiritually avoid all wrong way of life because it will definitely lead nowhere but destruction and devaluation of life and personality.

There is no reason why you must force things in a dubious way to please yourself or to be among the respected in the society.

It is bad to be dubious, there is no better result or definition that will come from such line of story which is evil or her proceed but evil.

Jacob tricked his brother to lose his spiritual birth right through deception but unfortunately for him, he couldn’t manifest it either because that is not the way to the top.

Trying to trick others off their treasure or manipulate people to your favour is a sure way down to the bottom of the ladder.

Jacob hit the bottom of the ladder in the house of laban, he meets one of the most wicked and more deadly people in his place in laban his mother’s brother. That is usually the result to whoever that is bad in one way or the other.

How you get to that place will determine the result you will get or next phase of your life.

If you are bad to your family, don’t expect a good result to come back to you. If you are not a good person to your neighbor because such is not your family, you feel less concern to whatever is happening to them, the result will definitely come at the shocking time of your life.

Can you accept it, or do you pray for such you are wishing other?
