BIBLE READING: PROVERBS 21:20-23.

SCRIPTURE:
For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
MESSAGE.
Spending means using something be it money, time or treasure material for an exchange of a particular thing that is treasurable to the spender.
Using your money wisely, spending your time reasonably, giving out your material treasure with wisdom of the lord is very important for you not to run into error.
This period is indeed a time to spend but you are hereby encouraged to discharge your benevolent character and giving with the wisdom of the lord.
There is a place you can spend much to, you cannot overspend your resources to, and you cannot regret doing it, it is the kingdom of God and his service.
It is an investment that will definitely bring its reward at the appropriate time regardless situation and circumstances of life.
Sincere and sacrificial giving to the service of God in the church or to some set of people in the society be it priest, widow, orphanage, fatherless, single mothers, less privilege in the community must be with fear and divine reference of the lord in the like of our father in faith, Father Abraham was totally ready to sacrifice Isaac to the lord as regards the requirements of the lord consigning it.
He doesn’t have grudges in his heart or exhibit pride as regards the lord expectations and intention of his request, he never share the ordeal with anybody that will discourage him.
He never shares with his wife, doing sacrifice and announcing it in the air before giving either to the service of the kingdom or anybody is not good enough on some occasion, but some occasion demands it because of the surrounding objective, such act of unnecessary broadcast and announcements usually devalue the expected credit and reward from the lord.
Giving must be with pure heart to the lord or people for one not to be a wasting the resources.
Spending your financial resources to show how buoyant you are is not Christian for such had allowed human imbalance principle to crip into his action, you must be moderate and be very careful in your disposition and character in all areas of your life.
Showing off material blessing or financial capacity has the power to attract unnecessary battle or challenge into your life.
Spending within your limitations during this festive period is good and will prepare you for the good day ahead of you, prevent you also from features calamity that is moving within the period.
You must be moderate in your character, attitude, spending, material acquisition etc, you must not force anything on yourself or trying to please anybody in anyway.
This period will not last forever regardless of the strong beat and sound generating through the continuous beating of the drum, it will be for a very short period of time.
What is important now is how well you are ready for the great future ahead of you.
Nobody will beat you because you don’t buy Christmas clothes or new year celebration material either for yourself or children for a time is coming you will be able to do better, spending and eat within your limitations is a very good principle to abide with, don’t try to please anybody by going out to commit blunder, don’t stretch yourself abnormally or overstretched yourself because you need to make the street know that you are the best man in town.
Spending lavishly this time will affect you and meant point you wrongly and can send a wrong signal about you to the people that has a negative feeling about your personality.
I love quiet living, it safe and reasoning, a life you will not need to please anybody but make God happy and being a tool in the hand of the Lord.
