SCRIPTURE:
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
MESSAGE.
Parent and parenting are two different things that are not same, very different in definition and application.
The two are very important in every home and for the usefulness of God’s divine assessment of manifestation and fulfillment of God’s purpose in the family and everyone in the circle.
The message of this morning is pointing out the relevance and importance of parent listening to the plight of the child or children at home for they are part of the family and the only relevant tools and agents of God that will continue to replicate the goodness and posterity of the family.
There are individuals today who are the source of the problem and predicament of the family because of their absence to the expectations of their children, some parents are too irresponsible when come to parenting and children’s relationships.
It is not good as a parent not to have good and recommendable relationships with your children at home for devil will always take advantage of that silliness of such parents to wreaked havoc in such family.
In some home the nanny and gardner are more relevant to the parents because of the carelessness and irresponsibility of the parents because of self-projected mission and objective of life.
There is nothing that is more important to your children and bringing them up in an expected way of God for such person or child to be either useful to themselves and be a great blessing to the parents later in the future.
A child was trying to report the wicked act and negligence of the nanny to her mother, knowing fully well that her mother, who was a banker with her expectations as the child that the mother will listen to her but the mother was too busy because of her secondary assignment which is the task of her office for she need to prepare for a promotional interview which will make her a manager in one of the fast growing branches of the bank.
She ignored the report of the child to avoid lateness to the place of interview at the headquarters somewhere around the state of the nation.
She passed the interview wonderfully with her promotion and recommendation letter with her on this same day and getting back home meet her elderest child lifeless body on the floor who was mistakenly poison by the nanny.
This could have been prevented but was not because of the deafen ear of the mother.
You must listen to your children; they also have an important thing to contribute to the growth of the family.
Parenting is beyond providing the necessity for the children at home, relationship with the children to avoid an untold story is also part of the working scheme of the parent, careful monitoring is one of the important things that must not be neglected.

2. Oh Lord, destroy every form of parental irresponsibility in me toward my children in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, direct the cause of my life as a parent to be able to lead the children rightly in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, help me to be responsible in the upbringing of my wonderful children in Jesus name.
5. Thank you for an answered prayers oh Lord in Jesus name.
