TOPIC: FAMILY OF GOD, VOL. 2.
BIBLE READING: JEREMIAH 35:1-12.
TEXT: JEREMIAH 35:6.

SCRIPTURE:
But they said We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye nor your sons forever
MESSAGE.
The type of family and the category you belong to will determine what will be manifesting in your life and also reflect in your family line.
The obedient family is those who are trained to obey the call of God and their parents. Their way of life usually reflects in their conduct and relationship with people.
You don’t build ungodly families and expect them to end up living the ordained life of God in their life.
The Rechabites are not indicated in the scripture to be Israelites in the scripture but were among the Israelites whose conduct of life is totally ascribed to godliness, obedient to the instructions of their parents in a corrective manner is second to none.
God acknowledged their way of life to be the best to that of the Israelites whose God expected them to totally stay away from ungodliness but several and larger numbers among this privileged people are still seeing what God detected as the best way of life.
The Rechabites who are not among the people that the grace of God covered as the Israelites were used as an expected and mandatory example to them by God who pronounced them blessed by the Lord because of their way of life.
The disobedient category of the family is the miserable set of an individual in the society who has no godly recognition and were naturally denied of divine manifestation of God in their life.
You must train your family in the way of God to get a godly kind of result that has the power to last generation, Isaac was able to obey his parents and lived a great life in his lifetime because of parental training and mandatory cause in his life.
There are examples of people in the scripture who were trained in the way of the Lord but decided to go by their self will in life, somebody like Samson.
He was brought up in a godly home with the task of living the life of God but chose to end with the adversary because of Disobedience and it seems better to what was instructed by God and supported by the parent.
Don’t raise children that will bring tears of sorrow out of your eyes in the future for the pain can last a generation and such will not end well in the journey of their life.

2. Oh Lord, destroy all forms of Disobedience in my life in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, silence all form of ungodliness in the life of my children and family in Jesus name.
