BIBLE READING: MATHEW 17:15-20.

SCRIPTURE:
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.
MESSAGE.
You must not be surprised when the devil is still suggesting what should not be considered appropriate for you in that situation. For he understands that everything in life is a test to man and the result after your decision that crip into action or character will determine your lot in God. This is simply saying that there is nobody that is free from the test of time be rich or poor.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18), test of character show the reality of a man even when he is going through an unbearable situation of life.
There is a couple who has only son, very wretched, and the son decided to travel out of the community to a very land to start a new life, get a job, gather some resources and money and come back home for the welfare of the parents.
It took him a very long years before achieving this first set of his goal, after successful toiling. He plans to visit the parents to give them a good life.
He got to the village but couldn’t recognize the house again. He went straight to the palace of the king and explain his life ordeal and the king sent one of his chief servants along with him to his parents’ house and none recognize him again.
Wickedness and heartlessness has nothing to do with whether you are rich or poor, there are some wealthy personality whose life is nothing but a sweet smell to the people around them, also there are some wretched individual too whose life is a terrible snare in the family such belong or community because of the wicked state of heart of such wretched fellow, like this parents you are reading their little story this morning.
“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee” (Jeremiah 32:17) no matter what you are going through, you must not forget that there is nothing that is too hard for the Lord to do, stay off wrong intentions and decision.
The Chief servant of the king brought the rich young man home unknowingly to the parents that is their only son, everything about him has totally change, the look, accent, character etc. He was seen an opportunity not as a human or stranger to be care for heartily by the family.
The boy asked for food, and they replied that there is nothing to eat at home and he opened the suitcase even in their faces and they witnessed how he brought heavy money to their house.
They both ate good food that very night and at the midnight the wicked husband went to the wife and explained to her how is an opportunity for them to be rich through this young rich man if they do the necessary and the wife asked, what is that to be done, he said to kill him.
What you are doing because of your position or situation of your life will determine a lot about your personality.
The wife first disagreed but was persuaded by the actor of the action and they both went into the evil ordeal unknowingly that they are killing their only son because of what to become.
What are you doing wrongly because of what you determine to become. It has power to split bitterness and unending sorrow into your life if is not right or acceptable to God.
In the morning the Chief servant from the king came to call both the parents and sons to the palace for proper introduction and they said the man is not a good one, for he left in the middle of the night and the man said the king want to see both of them in the palace.
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 3:17), this is one of the saving pills of the saints in the scripture, with this scripture in your heart and reflecting in your action, devil will not be able to manipulate you against yourself.
The king breaks down their history and they both discovered the man they killed was their only son out of wickedness and greediness, because of what to become, knowing this, the wife died immediately, and husband fainted but wake up to confess their evil action before he finally died.
What will you gain from that action you are about taking because of what you are going through, don’t forget that what you do now will definitely come back to you, so what are you expecting to come back to you.

2. Oh Lord, destroy all evil possibility of the devil against my life and family in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, disengage me from wrong advice and avenue against your expected rightness about life in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, renew your strength and power of the spiritual and moral motive in my life in Jesus name.
5. Thank you for an answered prayers oh Lord in Jesus name.
