BIBLE READING: HEBREWS 12:1-7.
TEXT: ROMANS 7:18.
REFERENCE: PROVERBS 28:13, MATHEW 6:33, JOHN 1:7-10.
SCRIPTURE:
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
MESSAGE.
Yes, it is not good but there is God that can turn the bad to good and worse to better. You are not made for shame and destruction.
Sin lead nowhere but calamity and destruction which is not the will of God for you and the rest, there is no amount of what you have done that is bad and ungodly that God don’t have power to forgive and make you a better personality and advertiser of his divine glory and manifestation.
He (God) has the power to make one a perfect individual in his way, he can make you an excellent individual that has worth and potential credibility.
There are people in the scripture and history whose sin in human form cannot be forgotten because of the gravity of the wrong or causes of their evil deliberate action, forgiveness is from the lord, who also has the power to stop the consequences of the sin over the life of such individuals.
Apostle Peter denying the lord where he needed to stand upright for the personality of the creator is one of the terrible grievous offences but was not only forgiven but was used to amend and bring to reality the lord manifestation in the church till date.
The King committed adultery which leads to the programmed death of the husband of the woman just to cover the evil track record of the king, this was revealed, he should have been dethroned immediately but he was pardoned because he repented.
There is no mistake in the act of murder, the Isrealites and Egyptian has issues that lead to the duo fighting which lead to the sudden death of an Egyptian in the hand of the peacemaker, Moses shouldn’t have been pardon but was, he was later used by the Lord to lead the highest number of people out of the bondage of a nation.
Jacob turned Isreal because he was pardoned, this was a man that will want to make riches out of other difficulty in life, he bought over his elder brother fortune because of famine, took the place of the brother deceitfully for a better life.
He was pardoned and genuinely repented. The very important thing is to come back to the lord with a repentant heart for the manifestation of God’s glory.
