SCRIPTURE:
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
MESSAGE.
It’s a very deep and regrettable failure for parents to fail over the upbringings of the children not only in the moral but also in God expected principles.
You must not fail for the consequences is more than what you can bear for its eternal and ungodly example to people till the world will be no more. One of the principal and major reasons and objective of being a godly and acceptable parent is disciplinary upbringings.
Knowing this and abide by the principle guarantee peace and comfort at every stage of your life.
Your busyness and business pro-activeness that bring about family progress and personal influence in the society is useless and will in no time fade away if there are no children to extend such good gesture to morally.
Training them will reprogram your person of interest in their heart, your disciplinary principle over whatever that is not acceptable and wrong that tend to spring up will silent and attack such immediately for a progressive and acceptable result.
The benefits of training up your children or adopted child in the way of the Lord is numerous and very powerful to all the good life you can imagine.
It will naturally give you peace of mind, Father Abraham have no reason of doubting the potential of his son in the society because he has be nurtured to be a responsible and societal influencer by the parents in a godly manner.
Isaac is one personality that can never be forgotten because of his contribution from the family line to the society, a respected individual to be proud of. The parents can sleep with their eyes close without being called upon suddenly of the wrong the child is engaging in or doing for one reason or the other.
Some parents lack peace in their life now because of their reckless activities and undone responsibility over their children.
The children of such Individual will but bring pain and unstoppable sadness to the parents.
There is a family where the parents are both bankers. They are both very busy in their career, having promotion timely because of their input in the industry, family and friends admire them because of their good social life but unknowingly killing their future without repair.
The children grow up not knowing and brought up in a moral way. The house helps and gateman has reorientated the life of their children wrongly and waywardly.
The gateman is having the canal knowledge of the daughter while the maid is doing the same thing with the male child, growing up with this terribleness that has grown in them, but one day the mother caught the son having the canal knowledge of her daughter and she collapse on the scene.
At this time the children are at the age of seventeen and fifteen years and the domestic staffs have been with them since the arrival of the second child.
The mother failure is traceable to the irresponsible decision against major decisions of her life.
I have a lady friend whose husband happen to be a banker, working with one of the national banks and she is also seriously seeking an employment in the same sector. she confided in me for prayer and I asked her a very simple question, which was “who will be taking care of your children when you both leave for office from 5:30am to 7pm in the evening and most of the Saturdays will be sacrifice because of pile up office responsibility” and I said she should not rush to give me answer. I told her bluntly that her decision of working in the bank like her husband is doing is very risk to the upbringings of their future children, though they will have all financial strength they need over the life of the children but the end is dangerous and shameful.
Brethren, are you a responsible parent or a regrettable one that will feel the pain of lack of responsibility for very long time.

2. Oh Lord, destroy selfish motive toward my responsibility at home in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, destroy evil source and character in the life of my children in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, make usefulness of my children to your glory in Jesus name.
